Los Angeles Fashion Week is betting that fashion weeks don’t have to be invitation-only. Produced by The Bureau Fashion Week — which stages official LA seasons each March and October — the October 2026 edition runs October 16–18 at The Lot Studios, 1041 N Formosa Ave in West Hollywood, with five runway shows open to the public through individual tickets. No industry credentials required.
The schedule is tight: Friday, October 16 brings shows at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM, Saturday, October 17 runs three — 2:30 PM, 5:30 PM, and the 8:30 PM finale — with closing-day programming on Sunday, October 18. Each season draws 12,000-plus in-person guests, with millions more reached through digital coverage.
Tickets, Not Invitations
That scale is powered by an open-door model. General admission starts around $72.95, with Reserved and Front Row VIP tiers above, and more than 40 percent of attendees are first-timers. In an industry that has historically guarded the front row, selling it outright is both a revenue strategy and a brand play — new audiences, new energy, new customers for the designers on the runway.
The math works because the experience is real: five shows, a studio lot, and a crowd that chose to be there. LA’s fashion week has figured out something the old guard hasn’t — the public isn’t a security risk, it’s a market.
